David Boyd

David is a lifelong resident of New Jersey. He grew up in Monmouth County and raised his family in Toms River, Ocean County. He currently resides back near his stomping grounds in Ocean Township (Monmouth County). David is a proud father of two unique children. His daughter is now an animation artist living in California. David’s son is special needs diagnosed with Autism, which has taught him patience, perseverance, and unconditional love.

Most of David’s professional career has been in the field of Civil Engineering. He has worked on large subdivisions including several of the adult community developments in New Jersey. David has also worked with many commercial projects throughout the state and has a strong understanding of the land development rules and regulations.

David entered the business side of real estate in 2006, just before the real estate crash happened. He quickly realized selling real estate was no longer list it and it sells. He had to adapt and failure was not an option. This was when the idea of an adult community website and services was born.

In the last 17 years, David’s 55Housing.com website has helped thousands of people by educating and finding the latest adult community homes. He is also a certified Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) by the NAR. Just one person cannot run this program, and David has enlisted several other Realtors and a host of providers to help service our clients and customers.
